oooops. I meant to check out the blogs section.

I wanted to also include few more things. The money in annuity accounts established in Texas & Florida currently are shielded from creditor and lawsuit. The fixed side is a really powerful tool whether you need income or let the money grow while enjoying tax advantages. Also, they offer unparalled safety & guarantee to your money almost through any kind of weather. And yes--you can get fixed interest rates just like bonds & CD's, but also have an option to be linked ONLY to the market's gains. This option to link is relatively new, and this is a fixed annuity product and it's NOT VARIABLE annuity! Carriers that fix-indexed annuities keep enhancing & getting better at this product. Now there are also life insurance chasis that have similar engine as fix-indexed annuities, but with great death benefit than the vested principal. So you've a retirement account & if you die, your beneficiaries could inherit even more. It has been carved like Noah's Ark of Financial Asset Classes. Get with your fixed financial specialist/agent to learn more about them or call me especially if you're in the tri-city area in Texas. I'm licensed in several other states, but I'm mainly focussed right here in Texas.

Also google out to read theadvises being given by global smart money managers like Warren Buffett and Jeremy Grantham. They've share cruicial insights even on cnn.com's Fortune section. They're all pretty much saying the same...the global economy is not sustainable and can't continue for too long w/ status quo. From my stance, I've met with many retirees who've lost their life's savings to market corrections & who just don't know what they've. I don't think you need to retire to know about our services. You would accumilate a whole lot if you don't loose to taxes or invested money, right? Michael Panzner's book on Financial Armageddon details much of the woes of the bubble the banking industry, market, retirement system & gov guarantee meltdown...real estate is another factor. The only asset class that does not have a historical track record of going belly up due to economic unrest is the very conservative asset class--the FIXED life/annuity insurance company.

Make sure to SHOP before settling even for these products. There's many many types of policies. The policies offered by top notch companies have gotten there for a reason. Deal w/ a fixed, independent financial/retirement specialist who represents multiple carriers. You can often check out the companies a rep represents by going online to your state's department of insurance. And make sure the policy ultimately covers your need!!!! Huda

I found this site via google in preparing for a local public TV segment on Financial Concerns for Retirement. Thank you for the imput. I hope you won't mind if I put your link in my Blogs page of my website at www.echoiceinsurance.com. A lot of people don't understand the insurance benefits they're either buying into and what's going on in the invetment market & banking industry. It's time to think about savings, safety & guarantees. This is an era where what you don't know might really burn you in one too many ways. Let me know if it's ok to put a link to my site. Readers, check out my article at the block section of www.echoiceinsurance.com. If any of you need me to review your current health to life insrance coverages to make sure you've your money worth so you won't hit donut holes or left out dry, shoot me a fax or call me w/ your summary of benefits handy. I can give you a quick review. My contact info is at www.echoiceinsurance.com. Huda

Lots of good information here. However, students cannot get out of student loan debt by declaring bankruptcy. Student loan debt is one of the categories (along with unpaid alimony & child support, and a couple others) not covered by bankruptcy protection. If one has student loans they cannot repay, even after other debts have been forgiven through bankruptcy, their wages will be ciphoned to repay the loan slowly - even if it takes a lifetime.
